Job Description

Purpose of the role

Support business areas with daily processing, reporting, trading support, issue resolution, and operational reviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist business teams with day-to-day operational activities including processing, reporting, reviewing, trading support, and issue resolution.
• Work closely with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend operational enhancements.
• Develop and implement procedures and controls to reduce risk and improve operational efficiency.
• Create reports and presentations on operational performance for internal stakeholders.
• Monitor industry trends and support the adoption of best practices in banking operations.
• Participate in projects and initiatives focused on improving operational effectiveness.

Preferred Background

• Understanding of commerce, accounting, financial operations, and reconciliation processes.
• Experience in financial operations, transaction processing, and account reconciliation within banking or financial services.
• Knowledge of risk and controls, business operations, and operational compliance.
