Purpose of the role
Support Private Bank and Wealth Management (PBWM) operations through daily processing, review activities, reporting, and issue resolution.
Accountabilities
- Assist with daily Private Bank and Wealth Management activities including processing, reviewing, reporting, and resolving issues related to accounts, products, and services.
- Help manage client relationships by identifying their needs and delivering services that meet expectations.
- Work with teams across the bank to align and integrate PBWM processes.
- Identify improvement opportunities and recommend changes to PBWM processes.
- Support the development and implementation of procedures and controls to reduce risk and maintain operational efficiency.
- Create reports and presentations on PBWM performance and communicate insights to internal senior stakeholders.
- Track industry developments and trends to support the adoption of best practices within PBWM services.
- Participate in projects and initiatives aimed at improving PBWM efficiency and effectiveness.

In this role, you will manage operational processes within a business area, maintain process integrity, support risk management initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The role involves ownership of assigned tasks and alignment with relevant policies and conduct standards.
The position focuses on end-to-end payment processing, particularly cross-border transactions. Responsibilities include ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of payments while handling exceptions, reconciliations, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to maintain smooth payment operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and monitor SWIFT cross-border payments, including MT and ISO 20022 message formats.
- Manage investigations and exceptions such as payment recalls, rejections, returns, and discrepancies.
- Perform Nostro and Vostro account reconciliations and resolve breaks within defined service levels.
- Ensure compliance with payment cut-off times, value dates, FX considerations, and charge structures.
Desirable Skills
- Understanding of SWIFT messaging including MT103, MT202, and MT202 COV formats.
- Knowledge of cross-border payment lifecycles and correspondent banking concepts.
- Experience handling operational exceptions and payment investigations.
