About the Role
Omnimise is seeking a passionate and motivated Backend Engineer Intern to join our team in Bengaluru. This is a full-time hybrid internship designed to provide hands-on experience in backend development while working alongside experienced engineers.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems and APIs.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards.
- Contribute to building new features and functionalities.
- Learn and apply new backend technologies and programming languages.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Support deployment and monitoring of backend services.
- Work on assigned tasks within the backend engineering team.
Requirements
- Available for a 6-month internship.
- Undergraduate or postgraduate students from any discipline (Management, Arts, Commerce, Sciences, etc.) are eligible.
Essential Skills
- MERN stack
- AI, RAG, Agents
- AWS services (EC2, S3, Cloudinary, API)
- Python, FastAPI, GoLang (Preferred)
- Ability to leverage AI for quick and bug-free coding
