About the Role

Omnimise is seeking a passionate and motivated Backend Engineer Intern to join our team in Bengaluru. This is a full-time hybrid internship designed to provide hands-on experience in backend development while working alongside experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems and APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards.
• Contribute to building new features and functionalities.
• Learn and apply new backend technologies and programming languages.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Support deployment and monitoring of backend services.
• Work on assigned tasks within the backend engineering team.

Requirements

• Available for a 6-month internship.
• Undergraduate or postgraduate students from any discipline (Management, Arts, Commerce, Sciences, etc.) are eligible.

Essential Skills

• MERN stack
• AI, RAG, Agents
• AWS services (EC2, S3, Cloudinary, API)
• Python, FastAPI, GoLang (Preferred)
• Ability to leverage AI for quick and bug-free coding
