Zelthy is offering an exciting opportunity to be part of the early-stage team that is building a globally scalable cloud platform focused on healthcare applications. This role provides exposure to a wide range of technologies and real-world applications across pharma, government, and digital health sectors.

As a Software Development Intern (Backend), you will contribute directly to the development and enhancement of the Zelthy Cloud Platform. You'll be working with a highly skilled team to design and build impactful features, maintain lifecycle operations, and ensure scalability and performance of critical healthcare applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Zelthy Cloud Platform
• Design and implement scalable and complex backend features
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for core platform functionalities
• Implement customizations and configurations for platform applications
• Perform application lifecycle and codebase maintenance
• Collaborate with business and solutioning teams to define application architecture
• Ensure best practices in backend service design and cloud deployment

Must-Have Skills and Experience

• 0–1 years of experience in backend development using Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework
• Strong understanding of software design principles and patterns
• Hands-on experience with Celery for task management
• Proficiency in RDBMS like PostgreSQL
• Exposure to cloud services including AWS, S3, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda
• Proficient with version control using Git
• Familiarity with frontend fundamentals including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Prior experience working in SaaS or PaaS environments is a plus
