About the Team

Sam’s Club operates as Walmart’s membership warehouse club, offering high-quality products at competitive prices. The business also develops and supports technologies such as Scan & Go, Club Pickup, and home delivery in select markets.

In addition to retail services, the team provides travel services, auto purchasing, pharmacy, optical and hearing centers, tire and battery services, along with various operational support capabilities.

What You’ll Do

You will work within a team of developers building large-scale systems across Walmart’s technology platforms. Projects may involve some of the following areas:

• Large private customer databases and master data systems
• Supply chain platforms supporting online and offline retail channels
• Mobile applications designed to improve associate and customer experiences
• Security frameworks and cryptography solutions
• Integration layers connecting suppliers and B2B partners
• Large distributed systems and service-oriented architectures
• High-performance and scalable platforms including private cloud infrastructure
• Massive in-memory databases and enterprise-scale applications

What You’ll Bring

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, expected to graduate in 2027
• Minimum combined aggregate score of 7 or above across semesters
• Strong understanding of core computer science topics such as data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and software design
• Working knowledge of at least one programming language such as C, C++, or Java
• Ability to analyze problems, interpret data, and develop practical solutions in a fast-paced engineering environment
