Overview
Position Summary
The Resolution Specialist supports contact center operations by addressing customer and associate issues, analyzing service data, and helping implement business solutions. The role focuses on improving customer experience through effective communication, problem resolution, and process improvements within the contact center environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply current knowledge and best practices to develop, execute, and improve action plans that support customer and business requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to implement business solutions by identifying needs, coordinating processes, and monitoring results.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards while supporting Walmart's mission and values.
- Communicate with customers across multiple channels, actively listen to concerns, and provide appropriate solutions based on their needs.
- Analyze customer issues to understand perspectives, restate concerns for clarity, and confirm understanding before providing resolutions.
- Support daily contact center operations including ticket handling, request lifecycle management, and escalation handling.
- Interpret operational reports such as call trends, assignments, tracking reports, and key performance metrics to monitor service levels.
- Assist with staffing plans and support contact center operations during lean staffing periods such as weekends.
- Escalate systemic issues using internal tools and platforms including systems used for operational tracking.
Problem Solving and Process Improvement
- Use diagnostic tools and fact finding methods to identify operational challenges within the contact center.
- Recommend alternative solutions based on benchmarking and operational insights.
- Collaborate across teams to investigate and resolve operational issues.
- Support process improvement initiatives by reviewing metrics, identifying root causes, and recommending improvements.
- Use customer feedback and trend analysis to suggest enhancements to existing processes.
Product and Service Knowledge
- Understand Walmart products and services and how customers use them.
- Explain product features, capabilities, and available alternatives to customers.
- Inform customers about promotions, offers, and discounts when relevant.
Data and Reporting
- Collect and review operational data across contact center systems to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Generate reports using existing models and templates and apply visualization techniques for stakeholder communication.
- Leverage technology tools to execute contact center transactions and identify automation opportunities.
- Support data driven decision making by analyzing service metrics and operational trends.
