About the Role
Volvo is seeking a motivated and detail oriented Data Analyst Intern to support the analytics team. In this role, you will collaborate with data professionals to collect, clean, analyze, and visualize business data that informs key decisions.
The apprenticeship suits individuals who enjoy working with numbers, identifying patterns, and converting data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and organize data from multiple sources using SQL, Excel, and Python (Pandas, NumPy).
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, correlations, and performance indicators.
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau.
- Work with cross functional teams to define KPIs and monitor business performance.
- Assist with automated reporting and help improve data workflows.
- Present insights and recommendations using clear data visualizations.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of SQL and Python for data manipulation.
- Familiarity with visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
- Understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis techniques.
- Interest in exploring business data and identifying insights.
Preferred Knowledge
- Experience with Excel Power Query or Power BI DAX.
- Exposure to forecasting methods or introductory machine learning concepts.
- Awareness of ETL workflows or cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
