About the Apprenticeship Program
The National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) is a structured program where Volvo India engages recently graduated individuals for a one year apprenticeship. The program provides practical exposure and skill development opportunities across company functions within Financial Services.
Through this initiative, participants gain hands on experience while contributing to the organization and preparing for future professional roles.
Responsibilities
- Support implementation of talent acquisition strategies and recruiting plans for the blue collar workforce.
- Research, design, and apply initiatives that help achieve diversity hiring targets.
- Identify opportunities to improve the inclusiveness of Volvo CE’s employment lifecycle.
- Plan and conduct campus hiring events during placement seasons and maintain strong relationships with academic stakeholders.
- Coordinate campus engagement activities across the academic year to strengthen the employer brand.
- Promote a positive, inclusive work environment that enhances employee satisfaction and engagement.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements applicable to factory operations and agreed work practices.
- Prepare and drive yearly employee engagement initiatives based on the engagement plan.
- Coordinate HR routines and processes to ensure wages and related payments are completed on time with the People Service team.
- Follow HR transformation, payroll, and system guidelines without deviation.
- Manage the complete lifecycle of service provider employees.
Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to interpret insights from diversity and workforce related datasets.
- Good organization and facilitation capability to manage multiple initiatives.
