About NATS Apprenticeship Program

The National Apprenticeship Training Scheme is a program where Volvo India engages freshly graduated individuals for year-long apprenticeships, providing them with practical training and skills development opportunities within the company's various functions under Financial Services. It's a way for Volvo to train future workforce members through a structured apprenticeship program.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Profile market, application segments, customer database, and competitive environment, providing insights that support strategic decision-making and for use in internal presentations by management.
• Create and update comprehensive industry, competitor, and customer models including, but not limited to, sales volumes, market share (Icema), growth projections, price positioning and trends, market forces, methods of distribution, and marketing initiatives.
• Perform thorough, systematic analysis of the general social, economic, and political environment; legal and regulatory issues; industry trends; customers; and current and potential competitors.
• Provide periodic market and competitive insights through presentations and reports to management to allow effective strategic and tactical decision-making and implementation.
• Supply the market and competitive intelligence component of strategic planning, and proactively make recommendations to management concerning key intelligence items that require further consideration.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of data sources, evaluating their credibility and potential utility, and leverage them across the company where appropriate.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key internal customers to identify emerging needs and business challenges.
• Develop and manage a self-service automated reporting portal on market and business intelligence by consistently managing the dataflow.
• Collaborate internally to ensure intelligence is shared with appropriate groups and individuals.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of designated markets and trends through reading reports and market research.
• Identify, collect, and analyze appropriate customer data, including persona, application segments, profiles, fleet size, and present and future potential.
• Support product managers for short-term and long-term product plans and identify product gaps and growth opportunities in line with strategic objectives.
• Coordinate with external agencies, off-highway reports, Icema, and others for smooth flow of information and reports.
• Participate in and represent global business intelligence forums and cascade inputs to the India team.
• Support Head-P&RD in pricing strategy, implementation, and documentation.
• Work closely with the finance and IT team on equipment price management and reporting, retail finance programs, and relevant tools.
• Engage with external financiers to customize retail programs, document and secure approvals, and support dealers in equipment and attachment finance.
