About the Role
Electronic Arts (EA) is seeking a passionate UX Design Intern to join the EA Mobile - Slingshot Games team in Hyderabad, Telangana. This internship offers an opportunity to work closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences for EA games and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist UX designers in developing wireframes, flows, mockups, and prototypes for various features.
- Support user research activities including surveys, interviews, playtests, and usability studies.
- Analyze research findings and provide actionable design recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Game Design, UI Art, Engineering, and Product Management to ensure cohesive player experiences.
- Explore innovative UX solutions that balance usability, accessibility, and enjoyment.
- Document and present design concepts, insights, and recommendations to the team.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong interest in UX design for games and familiarity with game design principles.
- Basic knowledge of design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision.
- Understanding of user research methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Player-first mindset with critical thinking about gameplay experiences.
- Portfolio showcasing design thinking and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Passion for gaming and knowledge of EA’s game portfolio.
- Familiarity with mobile UI/UX.
- Experience with Unity game engine.
