Position Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join our CT - IT department in Hyderabad, Telangana. This internship offers a hybrid work model and provides an opportunity to work on cutting-edge gaming technology and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate automation tools to enhance efficiency.
- Create, maintain, and improve simulation code in C++, Scala, or Python to support applications and features.
- Design and execute stress and load testing, including creating gameplay-driven scenarios and analyzing game logs.
- Set up distributed test environments and generate load for performance evaluation.
- Analyze and troubleshoot system and network issues related to performance and automation processes.
- Identify root causes of issues, distinguishing between test and system component problems.
- Collaborate with peers to track and resolve technical issues.
- Communicate test status and results to the team effectively.
- Adhere to EA’s policies, NDAs, and security guidelines.
- Report issues promptly and manage multiple tasks with agility.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Scala, or Python.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS (preferred), GCP, or Azure.
- Understanding of scalable platform architecture and end-to-end systems design.
- Creative problem-solving skills and passion for technology.
- Familiarity with visualization tools (e.g., Grafana) and databases (e.g., MySQL, Redis).
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality results.
