About the Role
Microsoft's Customer Experience & Success (CE&S) organization is dedicated to empowering customers to achieve business value through exceptional experiences with Microsoft products and services. Within CE&S, the Customer Service & Support (CSS) team leverages advanced AI technologies to deliver fast, secure, and effective solutions to customer issues, while preventing future problems and maximizing customer investment in Microsoft solutions.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Technical Support Engineer - Entry Level to join our on-site team in Pune, Maharashtra, India. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build your career, enhance your problem-solving skills, collaborate with diverse teams, and develop technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Response and Resolution: Investigate and resolve technical issues for customers by collaborating with internal teams and using troubleshooting tools.
- Readiness: Participate in peer communities, undergo training, and develop technical and professional skills to handle customer issues effectively.
- Product/Process Improvement: Identify potential product defects and provide feedback to senior engineers to improve Microsoft products.
- Manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrate a growth mindset, continuous learning, and cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 1 year of technical support, IT, or technical consulting experience OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Operations, Communications, or related field.
- Experience working in multicultural or global team environments.
- Proficiency in written, reading, and conversational English.
Preferred
- Experience in problem-solving and providing customer solutions.
- Background in supporting large corporate customers.
- Ability to meet Microsoft and government security screening requirements, including Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
Additional Information
This position is full-time and requires working on-site in Pune five days a week. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled, with a minimum posting period of five days.
