Skypoint is hiring AI Engineering Intern

Role Overview

We are seeking a curious and passionate AI Engineering Intern for a 6-month, on-site internship in Bangalore. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on AI or ML project experience who wish to enhance their expertise in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Agentic AI frameworks. Interns will collaborate closely with Data Science and Engineering teams to design, test, and deploy intelligent systems using Python, Databricks, Azure, and emerging AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and fine-tuning AI/ML models and pipelines.
• Perform data preparation, feature engineering, and model evaluation tasks.
• Experiment with LLMs, Generative AI, and Multi-Agent frameworks.
• Contribute to building Agentic RAG and Transformer-based AI solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI models into production environments using Azure or Databricks.
• Document research findings, experiments, and model performance results.
• Stay updated with advancements in AI, ML, and MLOps technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Basic knowledge or exposure to Databricks, Azure, or similar cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience through AI/ML projects, internships, or research.
• Understanding of Agents and Multi-Agent Systems.
• Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Agentic RAG, Transformers, and NLP Models.
• Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and experiment with emerging AI technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related fields.
• Relevant professional certifications.
