Overview
As a Production Technician at ABB, you will support the implementation, delivery, and continuous improvement of products and services. You will monitor the production process under a mentor's supervision, perform basic quality and testing checks, ensure efficient use of consumables and spare parts, and provide cycle time data to internal teams.
Your role and responsibilities
- Support the implementation, delivery, and continuous improvement of products and services within the defined area as directed.
- Monitor (under the supervision of a mentor) the production process and perform basic quality and testing checks.
- Ensure effective usage of consumables, spare parts for machinery and equipment, and all preventive and corrective maintenance processes.
- Provide cycle time data for the production process to internal teams.
Qualifications for the role
- Possess a valid ITI Certificate from a recognized institute.
- Trades accepted: Electrician, Fitter, Machinist, Mechanic, etc.
- Basic knowledge of tools and machinery related to the trade.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (for engineering trades).
- Understanding of safety protocols and quality standards.
