About the Role:
The Visible Alpha Client Support team is a rapidly expanding global team that provides essential support to investment professionals utilizing the Visible Alpha and Capital IQ Pro Platforms. Team members acquire in-depth industry knowledge, analyze research reports and models, and develop technical skills. They also collaborate with various internal teams across different functional areas, including Revenue, Product Management, Technology, and Content. We are seeking high-achievers who are passionate about client services and eager to advance their careers within a dynamic, high-performing, and multicultural team. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional learning agility, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to S&P Global's mission of being a leading provider of analytical information to the world’s financial markets. You will engage with a diverse range of clients, including investment banks, hedge funds, private equity firms, insurance companies, corporates, and investment managers. This role offers daily challenges with a steep learning curve. You will be part of a large, engaging, and international team with significant opportunities for professional growth. The position operates in a hybrid model, requiring two days in the office.
Responsibilities and Impact:
- Become an expert in domain, product, and workflow, enabling you to manage issues related to data and application logic that require thorough investigation.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders to promptly resolve questions and issues across all Visible Alpha products.
- Escalate product, technical, and data issues to relevant departments with sufficient information in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain articles for our internal knowledge base.
- Provide ongoing feedback to Product and Development teams to help build scalable solutions for clients.
Basic Required Qualifications:
- Understanding of Global Financial Markets and company financial statements.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting is beneficial.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate successfully across multiple audiences.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, demonstrating a passion for problem-solving, critical thinking, multitasking, and success in high-pressure environments.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- A good team player with the ability to work independently.
