About the Role

The Money Market Directories (MMD) team manages the collection and maintenance of a comprehensive web-based information platform designed for investors and investment managers around the world. The platform provides timely and accurate data that helps organizations build business relationships, identify new sales opportunities, and discover sources of capital. It also offers access to information about key decision makers responsible for managing investment capital globally.

As an Apprentice working within a dynamic global team, you will contribute to departmental goals by delivering accurate and timely data to clients. The role offers exposure to the financial industry while helping you develop a deeper understanding of best practices and process improvement. Team members are encouraged to challenge existing approaches, introduce new ideas, and pursue operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and update data related to investment plans and profiles including institutional investors, investment managers, mandates, family offices, and consultants.
• Maintain company profiles by gathering information from corporate websites, regulatory filings, news sources, and other online research tools.
• Identify relevant details related to deal activity and the associated buy-side or sell-side entities.
• Work with local and global colleagues to ensure data accuracy and timely updates.
• Support projects and processes focused on improving data integrity and workflow solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues, assist with online service support, and coordinate with system or project managers to implement enhancements.
• Develop and maintain relevant sources of information and market contacts.
• Build industry knowledge relevant to the financial data environment.
• Conduct outbound calls when required to verify information and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong comprehension, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in internet research and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work night shifts, rotational schedules, and flexible hours.
• Willingness to work during holidays, weekends, or overtime when required.
• Knowledge of SQL or database technologies is an advantage.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with macros are considered a plus.
