About the Role

The Transactions team focuses on delivering transparent, reliable, and comprehensive data and insights across M&A, public offerings, investor activism, equity buybacks, and bankruptcy. The team is seeking a detail oriented data researcher with strong analytical abilities to support this mission.

The Team

The group works to provide actionable intelligence by collecting and organizing transaction related data from a wide range of sources. The goal is to deliver accurate insights that support market participants and financial decision making.

Responsibilities

• Research, gather, and standardize transaction related data points from company filings, regulatory documents, press releases, and other sources.
• Meet individual and team targets while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
• Support subject matter expertise initiatives that improve data quality and team capabilities.

Basic Qualifications

• Strong comprehension ability.
• Experience with secondary research.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• High attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work in rotational shifts based on business requirements.
• Basic Microsoft Office certification.
• Foundational knowledge of accounting and financial markets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of data modeling, Python, and JavaScript (certification preferred).
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Ability to work with multiple languages.
