The Team

• Tax Utility is part of S&P Global Tax Solutions and provides a platform for exchanging and sharing required tax documentation for buy-side and sell-side clients.
• The platform gives subscribers access to pre-validated tax packages, validation reports, and supporting legal documentation.
• The team supports onboarding of tax documentation associated with IRS guidelines, client permissions, and refresh populations.

The Impact

• Tax Utility offers a searchable repository of validated tax form packages for immediate use and operational efficiency.
• The platform enables automated validation, workflow management, and remediation support for tax forms and profiles.
• Core processes include onboarding, outreach, validation, and monitoring.

What You Will Gain

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and manage daily account reviews along with urgent escalations.
• Provide guidance on tax authority regulations, compliance requirements, and industry practices.
• Handle tax compliance and remediation requests in line with IRS regulations and outsourcing protocols.
• Track legislative and regulatory updates affecting withholding and reporting requirements.
• Support operational processes, SOP creation, UAT testing, and quality control reviews for BAU activities.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain SLA adherence and ensure quality delivery for client requests within timelines.
• Validate the integrity of data and documents across regulatory and compliance platforms.
• Support account setup, user access, reporting, client outreach, validation failures, and client calls.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Flexibility to work across US shifts.
• Tax internship or prior tax-related experience is preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills with a strong client service mindset.
• Basic data analysis skills with knowledge of MS Excel, SQL, and Oracle querying preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
• Experience in client outreach, regulatory compliance, financial data operations, or client support is preferred.
• 0 to 2+ years of experience.
• Familiarity with bank compliance and risk management is an advantage.
