About the Role

The Associate, Capital Markets Client Services role supports users of the S&P Capital IQ and Capital IQ Pro platforms. Team members act as subject matter contacts for the platform and assist clients through diagnostic discussions, helping them use the product effectively while encouraging adoption of the service.

This position works closely with several internal teams including Sales, Content, Product, News, and Technical Support. Collaboration and strong coordination with colleagues are essential for delivering consistent service to clients.

The Team

The Capital Markets Client Services team supports financial professionals using S&P Global’s market intelligence platforms. Team members provide guidance on product features, data interpretation, and platform navigation for clients across different financial sectors.

The Impact

In this role, you assist market leaders and decision-makers in the financial services industry. By helping clients resolve issues, interpret data, and navigate the S&P Capital IQ and Capital IQ Pro platforms, you enable them to make informed decisions with confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver customer support to clients, distributors, and internal staff via phone, email, and web chat, covering industry insights, product usage, and content queries.
  • Support a portfolio of clients from sectors such as investment banking, private equity, investment management, financial corporates, and non-financial corporates.
  • Maintain a positive client experience and contribute to strong perception of the Market Intelligence division.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new team members by sharing best practices and product knowledge.
  • Conduct product demonstrations or client webcasts to showcase platform capabilities.
  • Contribute to the development of internal and client-facing knowledge base resources.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.
  • Understanding of financial markets or the global economy.
  • Ability to resolve issues efficiently and organize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and customer service capabilities to address client concerns and encourage product usage.
  • Comfort working collaboratively within a team environment.
