About the Role

The General Fundamentals team is currently undergoing a transformation phase and requires support to manage KPIs alongside ongoing transformation initiatives. This role helps ensure that deliverables remain on track, particularly during critical periods.

The Team

The team collects and maintains financial data that is published through S&P end products. Members support the accuracy and completeness of datasets by using internal and external research sources such as government and regulatory filings, stock exchanges, industry publications, analyst reports, information databases, and internal research tools.

This position offers exposure to reports from multiple industries and involves frequent interaction with stakeholders, helping build a collaborative work environment and providing insight into industry dynamics.

What You Will Gain

Responsibilities

  • Collect, enrich, and maintain basic financial data using internal or client databases.
  • Extract relevant datasets from source documents and convert them into required output templates.
  • Use internal tools and systems to ensure timely delivery of tasks.
  • Upload or remove reports as needed on client or internal databases.
  • Maintain the quality and integrity of the data set.
  • Complete assigned tasks following defined guidelines and turnaround times.
  • Comply with organizational policies, procedures, and performance tracking mechanisms.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and workflows.

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong academic background in finance or accounting.
  • Good written and verbal communication along with sound computer skills.
  • Willingness to work rotational night shifts and manage multiple tasks within a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a consistent approach to work.
  • Good quantitative, analytical, and interpretive capabilities.

Basic Qualifications

  • Commerce graduate.
  • Any stream with finance as a major or minor subject.
  • Computer literacy, particularly MS Office applications, knowledge of macros is an advantage.
  • Interest in research, writing, and data accuracy.
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders across different levels in a professional manner.
