The opening is within S&P Global's Transactions division, which publishes data related to Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets. The Transaction Researcher acts as an internal specialist, gaining detailed exposure to assigned regions while collaborating with global teams to understand industry dynamics.

The Transactions team is a diverse global group focused on delivering high quality data to S&P clients. The team culture emphasizes education in covered industries, encouragement of creativity and idea sharing, and empowerment for long term career growth.

This role offers exposure to the global transaction market and helps develop a broad understanding of industry data. You will learn multiple aspects of the assigned sector and apply that knowledge in daily responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete required training to ensure accurate and timely workflow delivery.
  • Understand datasets, workflows, and internal tools used by the team.
  • Stay updated with guidelines, processes, and internal policies.
  • Deliver tasks in line with defined team targets.
  • Add or update data according to established process guidelines.
  • Resolve errors based on quality feedback within the specified timeframe.
  • Extract and verify information related to capital offerings from filing documents.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and deliver high quality output.
  • Provide daily updates of completed work through reporting tools.
  • Respond to emails and queries from team members and supervisors in a timely manner.
  • Participate in team activities and collaborative initiatives.
