About the Role
PwC’s Deals Tech & Data Solutions (DTDS) team leverages data and advanced analytics to drive insights for Mergers & Acquisitions and other transaction-related activities. As an Associate, you will work with large datasets, apply statistical modeling, and use visualization tools to solve complex business problems for clients. You will collaborate with diverse teams, adapt to dynamic project environments, and continuously learn while delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Support data-driven initiatives for M&A and transaction advisory
- Perform data manipulation, visualization, and statistical modeling
- Participate in client projects, research, and engagement tasks
- Navigate multiple engagements while managing stakeholder expectations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Enhance project delivery through technology-enabled solutions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (B.E/B.Tech in CS/IT/EEE/EC with minimum 60%, no backlogs)
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data integration
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Proficiency in Excel-based analysis and financial reporting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience in Deals, M&A, or Tech & Data consulting
- Certifications in database programming (MS SQL Server, Oracle) or data visualization (Tableau, Power BI)
- Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Exposure to predictive modeling or machine learning platforms (Python, SAS, etc.)
