Private Banking Business Finance Analyst at Deutsche Bank | Mumbai

Role Description

This position is part of the Business Finance function supporting the Private Bank franchise. The role manages divisional finance activities and works closely with the CFO for Private Banking along with business managers and COOs across hub locations.

The analyst supports a variety of finance tasks including month end ledger close, journal entries, P&L reporting, revenue flash and actuals tracking, balance sheet substantiation, and preparation of financial disclosures.

Key Responsibilities

• Support production, validation, reporting, and analysis of P&L and month end financial statements while ensuring alignment with internal policies and regulatory frameworks.
• Assist with preparation of Revenue Flash reports and explain variances against prior trends and actual results during ledger close.
• Coordinate with business managers across regions to provide detailed driver based explanations of financial movements and events.
• Contribute to month end ledger postings, FX exposure monitoring, financial disclosures, and balance sheet substantiation.
• Support execution of key financial controls and assist in meeting audit requirements.

Skills and Experience

• Commerce graduate or MBA in Finance with specialization in financial accounting and reporting.
• Ability to interact with business stakeholders and senior managers.
• Experience working in diverse teams and cross regional environments.
• Strong desktop and presentation capabilities.
