Position Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic Application Software Engineer Apprentice to join our dynamic software team. This role is perfect for freshers eager to enhance their technical skills while contributing to innovative projects. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will develop, test, and improve software systems that meet customer requirements and site constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop software applications using programming languages like C++, Java, and Python.
- Apply object-oriented analysis, design methodologies, and design patterns.
- Work with version control systems like Git.
- Contribute to front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and modify existing code.
- Write requirements, design documentation, and test cases.
- Understand networking hardware and software, including UDP and TCP.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist in various projects and duties as required.
- Demonstrate initiative to achieve team and individual objectives.
- Adhere to organizational HR policies.
Qualifications
- Education Requirement: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Automation Technology, or Information Technology.
- Batch Eligibility: 2023, 2024.
- 0-1 years of experience in writing application software.
- Basic understanding of software testing principles and front-end technologies.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Technical Skills Required
C++, Java, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git, XML, Web Services, Linux, Object-Oriented Design, Networking (UDP, TCP).
Working Conditions
This role is primarily office-based with occasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace. It involves stable, indoor work environments during the day and occasionally at night.
Reporting Relationship
Reports to the Senior Manager of Software Engineering.
