About the Internship:
Join Microsoft’s Explore Program Internship designed specifically for second-year undergraduate students. This is an exciting opportunity to build community, explore your passions, and work on real-world projects alongside thousands of university interns from across the globe.
As an Explorer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the primary phases of the product development cycle: design, build, and quality. You'll work closely with a dedicated pod of fellow interns, enhancing your software engineering skills in a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Gain hands-on experience with various software development tools and programming languages.
- Collaborate with mentors, managers, and intern peers to evaluate project requirements, estimate costs, and implement features and services.
- Engage with core technology disciplines such as Software Engineering and Software for Hardware.
- Participate in community-building, mentorship, and networking opportunities within Microsoft.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education Requirement: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
- Must be enrolled in the second year of a 4-year undergraduate degree program at the time of application.
- Completed an Introduction to Computer Science course (or equivalent) by the start of the program.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest in majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related technical fields.
- Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, and adaptability.
Eligible Batch:
- Batch of 2027 (Students currently in their second year of undergraduate studies).
Technical Skills Required:
Computer Science fundamentals, software development, programming languages, software engineering principles, software for hardware concepts.
