Who we are looking for
The Global Accounting Operations (GAO) is a process-driven function responsible for all Record-to-Report (R2R) processes within the Controllers Finance function. The team is seeking a candidate for an opportunity in the Specialized Accounting Team to contribute to accounting and reporting processes related to Non-Hedging FX Derivatives and day-to-day operations that support Global Specialized Accounting. The candidate will play a key role in business and transformation projects to streamline processes. An analytical mindset is expected, with the ability to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of multiple highly complex improvement projects that promote organizational efficiency, reduce manual touch points, and enhance controls.

The role is within the Global Accounting Operations (GAO) teams, which are part of the Controllership function within Finance. The role is focused on driving change across the GAO teams and delivering the GAO Strategy.
What you will be responsible for
As an apprentice with our team, the candidate will work closely with our full-time staff on the Business As Usual (BAU) activities of the Specialized Accounting team, including managing the accounting for Non-Hedging FX Derivatives, Loans, Repo/Reverse Repo, and the monthly financial close process for specified products, including SEC and REG reporting. In addition to BAU responsibilities, this role will support process re-engineering, standardization, and automation efforts.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates should have strong technological and basic accounting skills.
- Prior coursework or experience with programming and BI tools is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint), with medium-level Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, workbook maintenance best practices).
- Knowledge of Spotfire, Tableau, data analytics, macros, and visualization (or similar).
- Preferred education background: Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
