Analyst (Early Talent, On Campus)

As an Analyst at IQVIA, you will help accelerate patient access to treatments through data-driven insights. Your work will support precise delivery for customers, contribute to patient interactions, provide internal support, and drive innovation. IQVIA draws on 60 years of experience across 100 countries, more than 60 petabytes of data, 1.2B+ non-identified patient records, 150,000+ data suppliers, and 1M+ data feeds.

Job Overview

• Handle commercial analytics projects, including marketing mix, forecasting, segmentation and decision tree, customer, and brand performance analytics, using Python, R, and SAS.
• Work on projects such as promotional return (ROI analysis), resource and price optimization, and physician or patient profiling.
• Build a solid understanding of consumer offerings, proprietary databases, and analytical approaches to guide client-facing stakeholders, mainly in Europe and the US.
• Process small and large datasets efficiently and choose the right tools for the job (for example Excel, SAS, or Python). Act as a champion for analytics technologies within the team.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders from a business perspective.
• Work in a team and coordinate with members to perform QC on projects with tight turnaround times.
• Carry out advanced analytics such as hierarchical and Bayesian hierarchical models, linear and non-linear optimization techniques, RNN, and CNN.

Qualifications

• A relevant educational certification or degree in a related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency in SAS, R, and Python is mandatory, and experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
• Works willingly and effectively with others across the organization to meet team goals.
• Understanding of core business processes, their interactions, and the impact of internal and external influences on decision making, growth, and decline.
• Knowledge of consulting methods, tools, and techniques related to your functional area.
• Awareness of current events, industry developments, and major competitors.
• Understanding of the marketplace, including professional and trade associations, key people, and companies.
• Effective time management skills.
