Job Overview
Verify queries identified by the ECG analysis system and act on them by raising them to the site or closing them as self-evident corrections. Close queries in the database according to site resolution. This role also provides requested information from ECG receiving servers for data reconciliation. Raise data clarification forms on request and mentor junior staff.
Essential Functions
Data Receipt Technician / CT Role
- Create the Escribe custom ID, add the study on the data receiving server, and set up the application needed to receive data.
- Receive ECGs and check system-identified queries on the storage and analysis platform.
- Verify demographic details and correct the database per self-evident correction guidelines.
- Raise data clarification forms for any mismatch in received ECGs.
- Work on TEST ECG validation for the device-agnostic platform so sites can send ECGs using their own devices, and maintain a tracker for this activity.
- Enroll patients in the analysis database.
- Maintain trackers as required for a study.
- Perform daily quality control of resolved queries and unprocessed data.
- Help the data manager with reconciliation by verifying source data.
- Train and mentor junior Data Receipt team staff.
- Coordinate with Project Management, Data Management, and Operations within Connected Devices to ensure smooth functioning.
Data Receipt Technician / QMC (Query Management Coordinator) Role
- Receive DCF responses from study sites for studies on different platforms at Connected Devices.
- Upload DCF responses to the database as applicable.
- Resolve DCFs and process ECGs for analysis or store them as the study requires.
- Raise DCFs to sites for queries raised manually outside the database.
- Create trackers for DCF responses as applicable.
- Send reminder emails to sites as required.
Data Receipt Technician / Site Enrollment and Site Qualification
- As site enrollment coordinator, receive requests from the study PM to create sites for clinical trials at Connected Devices.
- Create sites as required in applicable systems such as the data receiving server, analysis database, and shipment database.
- Confirm to the PM and assign cart numbers for ELI devices.
- As site qualification coordinator, prepare Site Qualification Forms (SQF) for applicable platforms and send them to the study PM.
- Receive SQFs from sites and update the shipment database, which supports the device selection process.
- Track SQFs for as long as the study remains active in the IQVIA database.
Data Receipt Technician / ECG Allocator
- Ensure ECG analysis is completed at all levels within the study-specific turnaround time (TAT).
- Allocate ECGs for analysis at each level (Primary Analyst, Internist, and Cardiologist) and track completion within the time frame.
- Perform SDV and maintain the Cumulative Study Specific SDV Logs.
- Allocate data and maintain trackers for the remote monitoring process across service lines as applicable.
- Resend ECG reports upon request from the site or client for a study.
- Send Holter reports within the applicable study-specific TAT.
- Generate pre-printed airway bills from the courier vendor website and share them with the help desk upon request.
- Dispatch original ECG tracings back to sites.
Data Receipt Technician / Archival Coordinator
- Track studies that need archival after the 15-year database lock period is complete.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to upload department-specific documents and files for archival.
- Ensure all stakeholders have uploaded files to the predefined folders.
- Raise IT tickets for data archival and follow them through to completion.
- Raise requests to the Archive Database (QECG Build) for data upon 5-year database lock completion, using script data.
- Raise requests to IT for retrieval upon sponsor request.
- Coordinate with PMs or leads for data destruction after the 15-year period.
- Obtain sponsor approval for data destruction by providing a template with study details.
- Track physical data files for old studies with the vendor, raise invoices, and retrieve files as required.
Data Receipt Technician / Metrics Champion
- Prepare metrics in the predefined format and share them with the sponsor as per the agreement. Metrics provide insight into CD and site performance.
Qualifications
- Graduate in any field preferred.
- Experience working with Excel and Microsoft Office, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and certification.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Ability to understand ECG quality.
