Overview
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Power Private Limited is seeking a motivated Intern to join its Tower and Foundation team within the Wind Power Technology business unit. This role focuses on supporting site-specific wind turbine load calculations and structural design for primary load-carrying elements.
The Design Tools (DT) team maintains and enhances an engineering toolchain used by over a hundred engineers worldwide. The toolchain is primarily developed in MATLAB and Python, with a strong emphasis on automation, structural load calculations, and user experience. Operating in a DevOps environment, the team continually improves software quality and feature delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to develop new functionalities, enhance existing features, and maintain the engineering toolchain.
- Engage with engineers and business stakeholders to support their requirements.
- Assist in debugging and resolving software issues in production.
- Write high-quality, well-tested, and documented code following best practices.
