Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Analyst Intern to assist our Product Manager in defining clear, actionable product requirements for the mortgage domain. This role offers hands-on experience in product management, business analysis, and agile development practices, serving as a bridge between business objectives and technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to gather, document, and refine requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and wireframes.
- Assist in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and feature prioritization.
- Analyze product usage data and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
- Prepare documentation such as Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), process flows, and release notes.
- Support stakeholders with product-related queries.
- Learn and apply best practices in agile product development and lifecycle management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office or Google Workspace tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of product lifecycle and requirement gathering processes.
- Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the mortgage domain.
- Experience with SQL, Excel (advanced functions), or BI tools like Tableau / Power BI.
- Understanding of agile methodologies and sprint processes.
- Basic knowledge of UX/UI principles and wireframing tools (Figma, Balsamiq, Miro).
