Infineon Hiring Test Technology Engineer - Bangalore | R&D

Your Role

In this position, you will assist with defining test concepts and preparing test specifications for Integrated GaN solutions or Discrete GaN solutions in collaboration with concept engineering and design teams.

• Assist in defining test concepts and specifications for GaN based solutions together with concept and design engineers
• Support the development of innovative test approaches including Design for Test (DfT) and optimization of test software for Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
• Help design product specific test hardware used for wafer level and final product testing
• Participate in analyzing, debugging, and characterizing new products on test systems
• Contribute to identifying and implementing improvements in test packages to reduce testing time and optimize cost
• Transfer validated test packages to production sites in Europe and Asia, occasional intercontinental travel up to 10%
• Provide support during production ramp up activities
• Collaborate closely with concept, design, verification, characterization, production, and technology engineering teams

Your Profile

• University or university of applied sciences degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable discipline
• Fluent English communication skills, willingness to learn German is considered a plus
• Ability to work in global teams with a results oriented and technically driven approach
