Job Summary
Backup and Storage professionals manage, monitor and maintain enterprise backup, recovery and storage infrastructure so that data stays available, intact, secure and the business keeps running across IT environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain backup and recovery solutions.
- Manage storage systems, SAN, NAS and cloud storage environments.
- Carry out data backup, restoration and disaster recovery operations.
- Monitor storage capacity, utilization and performance.
- Put in place backup policies, retention schedules and data protection strategies.
- Troubleshoot backup failures, storage issues and performance bottlenecks.
