Role Overview:
As a Trainee Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring an uninterrupted supply of materials to support production and sales. You will manage material ordering, scheduling, and inventory control, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to optimize operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage material ordering, availability, and scheduling to maintain optimal inventory levels
• Act as an Oracle and Digital Cockpit expert for material tracking and management
• Ensure systemic accuracy of inventory and resolve material-related issues
• Handle rescheduling of materials for inventory control, including expediting and push-outs
• Conduct root cause analysis and resolve daily material shortages
• Collaborate with suppliers on packaging, planning, replenishment, and problem-solving
• Perform floor walks and dock inspections to address material receiving issues
• Support material transfers and supplier reviews in coordination with the sourcing team
• Manage Phase In / Phase Out (NPI) to minimize obsolete materials
Eligibility Criteria:
• Batch: 2023, 2024
• Education: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering
Required Skills:
MRP, Oracle, SAP, Inventory Management, Material Scheduling, Supply Chain Management, Problem Solving, Communication Skills, Digital Cockpit, Root Cause Analysis, Supplier Coordination, Logistics Planning, Manufacturing Operations
Desired Characteristics:
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a problem-solving mindset
• Prior knowledge of MRP, Oracle, or SAP is an added advantage
