Job Description

GE HealthCare is hiring a Graduate Engineering Trainee for the Manufacturing Process and Quality function. The trainee will work closely with manufacturing teams to manage production lines, address quality concerns, and support continuous process improvements.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage activities on the manufacturing line.
  • Identify and resolve quality issues occurring on the production line.
  • Ensure all equipment calibration activities are completed according to schedule.
  • Review and maintain calibration documentation and reports.
  • Perform verification and validation tasks related to equipment and production processes.
  • Prepare validation and verification reports.
  • Support installation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • Assist with ordering tools and equipment required for manufacturing operations.
  • Help clear non-conforming material reports from the production line on daily and weekly intervals.
  • Manage the non-conforming products area and related documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and supplier quality engineers to resolve issues and manage rejected materials.
  • Coordinate with suppliers regarding part rejections and rework activities.
  • Support the creation of work instructions and maintain their revision history.
  • Assist in preparing Device History Records and maintaining document revisions.
  • Help communicate engineering changes and distribute related documents across teams.
  • Train manufacturing teams when updates are made to work instructions.
  • Develop solutions to improve quality, cost efficiency, and productivity.
  • Support Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives as a team member.
  • Maintain inventory records for capital goods and ensure proper traceability.
  • Execute Poka Yoke projects involving jigs and fixtures to simplify manufacturing processes.
  • Assist with Kaizen initiatives across manufacturing lines.
  • Support Lean action workouts and process improvement efforts across the site.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Follow site QMS procedures and work instructions.
  • Comply with site EHS policies and safety procedures.
  • Adhere to company HR and administrative policies.
