About the Role
Fortrea is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented SEO Apprentice to join our Digital Marketing team in Bangalore. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in search engine optimization while contributing to impactful digital initiatives for a global organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research using tools such as SEMrush and Google Keyword Planner.
- Assist in optimizing on-page elements including meta titles, descriptions, header tags, alt text, and internal linking.
- Monitor SEO performance metrics like organic traffic, keyword rankings, CTR, and bounce rates, and prepare detailed reports.
- Identify technical SEO issues using platforms like Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
- Maintain and update SEO task trackers to ensure smooth execution of ongoing initiatives.
- Stay updated on the latest SEO trends and search engine algorithm changes.

- Motivated, curious, and eager to learn with a genuine interest in digital marketing.
- Positive attitude, innovative thinking, and strong teamwork skills.
- Excellent communication skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Digital Marketing.
- No prior professional experience required, but technical knowledge is essential.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing concepts.
- Familiarity with tools like SEMrush, Google Keyword Planner, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Screaming Frog preferred.
