About the Role

Fortrea is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented SEO Apprentice to join our Digital Marketing team in Bangalore. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in search engine optimization while contributing to impactful digital initiatives for a global organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research using tools such as SEMrush and Google Keyword Planner.
• Assist in optimizing on-page elements including meta titles, descriptions, header tags, alt text, and internal linking.
• Monitor SEO performance metrics like organic traffic, keyword rankings, CTR, and bounce rates, and prepare detailed reports.
• Identify technical SEO issues using platforms like Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
• Maintain and update SEO task trackers to ensure smooth execution of ongoing initiatives.
• Stay updated on the latest SEO trends and search engine algorithm changes.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Digital Marketing.

• Familiarity with tools like SEMrush, Google Keyword Planner, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Screaming Frog preferred.
