Role Overview
As a Front-End Software Development Intern at FloBiz, you will translate design prototypes into responsive, high-performance web applications. Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other teams, you’ll enhance user experiences, develop new features, and deliver robust front-end solutions that empower India’s SMEs.
Responsibilities
- Convert Sketch/Invision/Figma designs into fully functional, responsive web pages.
- Write reusable, high-performance code for scalable front-end solutions.
- Optimize code for web, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Contribute to the development of applications and prototypes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship features, resolve issues, and improve the product.
- Adapt to changing business needs promptly while fostering a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript/TypeScript, and web frameworks.
- Familiarity with Angular 12+ or willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of CSS frameworks like Bootstrap and pre-processors such as LESS/SASS.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and version control systems like Git.
- Ability to promote a culture of knowledge sharing within the team.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Experience with server-side technologies like Node.js, Java, Ruby, or Python.
- Knowledge of Electron framework and WebSockets for real-time communication.
- Exposure to Test-Driven Development (TDD) and testing libraries like Jasmine/Karma.
Eligibility Criteria
Open to batches currently pursuing or recently completing B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science or equivalent programs.
