Job Summary

Flex is looking to add a Junior Financial Analyst for its Cost Accounting Solutions team in Chennai. The role supports the teams that build great products and contribute to the company's growth.

What a typical day looks like

• Carry out the defined cost accounting activities.
• Understand corporate policy and follow up on key cost accounting metrics.
• Drive time saving and cost reducing initiatives through pocket kaizens and process improvements.
• Work with the operations team and track reasons for metric non-conformances through regular follow ups.
• Post month end journal entries for accruals and reclassifications in the ERP.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs in line with the latest processes and document them in the DMS.
• Learn the cost accountant role and serve as its backup.
