Roles and Responsibilities

• Learn and apply tax compliance process standards across several types of corporate and partnership projects, from start to finish.
• Gather tax data and manage documents to prepare basic tax return filings and deliverables. Analyze and process tax and financial data using one or more of KPMG's proprietary tax technology tools to produce compliance deliverables for clients.
• Handle and complete multiple tasks within set timelines and in line with quality control standards.
• Work with the engagement lead using clear communication and collaboration to meet shared goals that support quality client service.
• Take part in periodic training and professional development.
• Apply skills gained in training to improve the use of tax technology and the quality of tax deliverables and services.

Federal and State Tax

• Populate simple single entity federal, state and international tax returns using tax software and tools, with inputs for complex items provided.
• Perform effective self-review to produce quality work with minimal errors.
• Resolve issues of simple complexity using problem-solving skills.
• Apply knowledge from training programs to interpret a range of tax concepts.
