Job Summary

To support teams that build great products and drive our growth, we are looking to add an Analyst - Procurement to our team. This position will be based in Chennai.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

• Handle administrative tasks related to purchasing.
• Maintain files, logs and records of invoices, purchase orders and other related documents.
• Enter and maintain information in various business systems.
• Assist in expediting orders.
• Contact vendors, when needed, to obtain prices and schedule delivery dates.
• Develop and maintain resources for assigned commodity items.
• Prepare standard requests for quotation.
• Coordinate pricing revisions, order cancellations, delivery date changes and discontinued item activities, review and recommend acceptable substitutes, and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Work directly with suppliers to resolve purchasing, change order and logistics issues.
• Help with purchase order negotiation, placement, maintenance and follow-up.
• Review standard reports to identify issues or generate group statistics, and recommend buys to planning or adjust PO deliveries.
• Run computer queries and research to provide component and order information.
• Provide routing instructions, track and trace shipments, and interface with carriers, freight forwarders and customs brokers.
• Prepare shipping and customs documentation.
• Support supplier contract negotiation and development.
• Assist with content preparation and take part in strategic supplier reviews.
