Apprenticeship Program
This 12‑month apprenticeship under India's National Apprenticeship Training Scheme offers practical, on-the-job exposure within Deutsche Bank. The program is designed to provide professional learning and real business experience. Completion of the apprenticeship does not guarantee permanent employment with Deutsche Bank Group.
Role Description
The position sits within Business Finance supporting the Private Bank (PB) franchise. The role works closely with CFO teams, global Business Finance leads, and business managers across hub locations to manage divisional finance activities.
- Assist with a range of business finance activities such as month-end ledger close, journal postings, and P&L reporting.
- Support Revenue Flash reporting, financial disclosures, and balance sheet substantiation.
Key Responsibilities
Business Finance teams are responsible for preparing, validating, and reporting financial results including daily P&L attribution and month-end financial statements. Activities must align with internal policies as well as regulatory and statutory frameworks.
- Support preparation of Revenue Flash and explain variance compared with prior trends and developing actuals during ledger close.
- Work with business managers across regions and business units to analyze financial movements and identify drivers of change.
- Assist with daily P&L reporting, FX exposure monitoring, financial disclosures, and balance sheet substantiation.
- Support key control activities including analytical reviews, financial adjustment checks, and book completeness reviews.
- Assist with audit-related requirements.
Skills and Experience
- Commerce graduate or MBA in Finance with specialization in financial accounting and reporting.
- Ability to communicate and interact with business stakeholders.
- Experience working in diverse teams and cross-cultural environments.
- Strong desktop and presentation tool usage.
