Job Description

The Collateral Management team performs an important risk mitigation function by overseeing the bank’s collateral assets. The role involves monitoring exposure levels and supporting the daily execution of collateral agreements across client portfolios.

The analyst works closely with internal teams and infrastructure functions to ensure smooth collateral movements and effective management of exposures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily execution of collateral agreements and manage exposure for assigned client portfolios.
  • Monitor daily collateral movements and ensure accurate tracking across accounts.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with front office teams and internal infrastructure functions.
  • Ensure adequate funding across multiple currencies within defined timelines.
  • Monitor currency spreads and ensure required margins are maintained.
  • Review and resolve daily breaks with trading desks or counterparties.
  • Perform control checks related to currency coverage and transaction types during the day.
  • Escalate issues or concerns promptly to managers, oversight teams, or desks.
  • Maintain accurate records and capture individual work statistics.

Skills and Experience

  • Educational background in Finance or a related discipline.
  • Exposure to currency swaps in a tight cut-off or deadline-driven environment is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail when reviewing transactions and exposures.
