Job Description

Cognizant is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Process Executive – Order to Cash (O2C) to support its finance operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing PO requests, maintaining invoice data, and ensuring timely payments. This role is ideal for freshers or individuals with up to one year of experience who are looking to begin or grow their career in finance operations with a global leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately process purchase order (PO) requests within ERP systems
• Maintain open invoices and ensure they are updated for timely payments
• Use Microsoft Excel to analyze data, create reports, and support finance functions
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance order-to-cash workflows
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies in invoices and payments
• Ensure compliance with company finance policies and procedures
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes
• Support the preparation of financial statements and reporting documents
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of transactions
• Participate in audits and compliance-related activities
• Continuously look for ways to improve operational efficiency
• Provide high-quality customer service and ensure satisfaction

Required Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas)
• Familiarity with ERP systems for PO entry and invoice management
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Problem-solving capabilities to address invoice/payment discrepancies
• Knowledge of financial reporting processes
• Organizational skills for record maintenance
• Customer service orientation with a focus on timely processing
• Willingness to work night shifts in a hybrid work environment

Certifications

• Certification in Microsoft Excel or relevant data analysis tools is mandatory
