Citi Pune Hiring Securities & Derivatives Analyst 1 (Hybrid)

The Securities & Derivatives Analyst 1 is an entry level role that processes orders and transactions from trading desks and branch offices, working with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The main goal is to support the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.

Responsibilities

• Verify trades to confirm that booking requests are accurate
• Generate and match trade confirmations based on International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) templates
• Complete settlement tasks and daily rate revaluations accurately and on time
• Route transaction processing issues to the right department and help work toward a solution
• Carry out regulatory controls, account reconciliations and record retention in line with established policies
• Prepare and submit periodic internal and external regulatory reports
• Take part in periodic General Ledger (GL) proofing exercises as directed
• Assess risk when making business decisions, protecting the firm's reputation and Citigroup, its clients and assets by following applicable laws, rules, regulations and Policy, and by escalating and reporting control issues transparently
• Use independent judgement to manage day-to-day work, assess complex situations, resolve issues and decide on appropriate next steps, owning decisions and outcomes within your area
• Help the business area run smoothly by making sure administrative processes are applied consistently and outputs meet expected standards, responding to changing operational needs
• Apply domain knowledge and analytical skills to deliver work that meets established standards, evaluate business requirements and recommend practical solutions, refining standard methods where needed
