Role Overview

The Data/Information Management Analyst is a trainee professional role. It calls for a good working knowledge of the processes, procedures and systems used to complete assigned tasks, along with a basic grasp of the underlying concepts behind the job. You should understand how the team works with others to meet the area's objectives.

You will make evaluative judgements based on analysis of factual information and resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions, guided by precedent. Clear, concise communication and awareness of audience diversity are expected. Your impact is limited to the quality of your own tasks and services.

Responsibilities

• Support various data activities, including database administration, data analysis, maintenance, data quality, and database management or architecture/design engineering
• Handle routine operational and administrative work
• Carry out defined procedures, analyses and report preparation on a day-to-day basis
• Work is thoroughly reviewed by senior team members, with limited contact outside your immediate area
• Deliver routine outputs daily while building knowledge of the broader context of the work
• Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, protecting the firm's reputation and Citigroup's clients and assets by complying with laws, rules and regulations, following policy, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating and reporting control issues transparently

Qualifications

• Project management skills
• 0-3 years of experience
• Hands-on experience with UNIX/shell scripts
• Good to have: Python, PySpark or SAS
• Good communication skills to manage vendors and partners
• BFSI experience is preferred
