Digital Operations Support Analyst
Caterpillar is looking for a Digital Operations Support Analyst in Technology, Digital and Data. The role provides support and problem resolution for specific products.
Responsibilities
- Helps clients implement new products, new releases and software upgrades, and responds to their inquiries and requests.
- Trains customers on product operation and maintenance.
- Takes part in analyzing client-reported issues that may require changes to software, procedures or documentation.
- Diagnoses, troubleshoots and resolves common technical problems, and escalates them according to procedures.

- Effective Communications: Understands communication concepts, tools and techniques, and can transmit, receive and accurately interpret ideas, information and needs.
- Problem Solving: Knows approaches and tools for recognizing, anticipating and resolving organizational, operational or process problems.
- Customer Support Policies, Standards and Procedures: Knows the organization's customer support policies and procedures, and can guide customers through all company interactions.
- Software Product Technical Knowledge: Understands the technical aspects of software products, and can design, configure and integrate them.
- Software Release Management: Knows strategies, practices and tools for managing software versions and distribution, and can improve release management.
- Software Reliability Management: Knows how to develop and apply principles, methods and metrics that improve software performance and reliability.
- Performance Measurement and Tuning: Understands system performance, testing and programming, and can monitor, measure and optimize system performance and network communication.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Knows troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques, and can resolve technical issues on hardware, software, applications or operations.
This position requires working onsite five days a week. Relocation is available for this position. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
