Job Description

Purpose of the role

The role focuses on monitoring customer accounts to detect suspicious or fraudulent activity and taking appropriate action when necessary.

Accountabilities

• Handle customer queries related to suspected fraud, including credit card inquiries, account management, and case resolution.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and law enforcement agencies when investigating potential fraud cases.
• Assist in developing and implementing fraud prevention strategies, procedures, and the use of fraud detection tools and technologies.
• Support business operations teams such as risk management, compliance, and customer care when required.
• Identify trends and regulatory developments related to fraud prevention and ensure internal policies align with these requirements.
• Manage and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of fraud prevention activities, using data and technology to highlight areas for improvement.
• Monitor financial transactions for suspicious activity, conduct investigations, and report fraud incidents.
