Job Description

Purpose of the Role

The role provides balanced and independent advice to senior stakeholders by identifying business problems, evaluating solutions, and supporting decision making.

Accountabilities

• Provide strategic guidance to Group Executives to assist with decisions related to business challenges and opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategic advisory initiatives to support growth and improve the bank’s operations using market research and analysis.
• Work with different stakeholder groups to determine appropriate strategic directions that meet the needs of Barclays clients and investors.
• Create financial models to support recommendations and transactions using financial data analysis and project insights while evaluating the financial impact of business decisions.
• Support transaction management, negotiation processes, transaction structuring, and post transaction integration.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain existing client relationships and identify opportunities to develop new connections.
• Track industry developments, maintain peer benchmarking insights, and stay updated on trends through conferences, training, and market research.
