Job Description

Purpose of the role

Provide financial expertise and support to designated business units or departments within the organisation. The role acts as a link between the finance function and business teams, helping translate financial data into insights that support business decisions.

Accountabilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and budgets for business units, using insights to evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives and recommend actions.
• Create financial models to forecast performance, evaluate investment opportunities, and assess financial risks. Analyse how business decisions influence financial outcomes and provide recommendations.
• Work with cross functional teams to deliver financial insights and guidance to stakeholders across business units.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and help implement changes that streamline financial operations.
• Assist business units in identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks, including offering guidance on risk management and compliance practices.
• Analyse and present financial information to highlight trends, provide performance insights, and support informed decision making.

• Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders outside the immediate team and develop professional networks across the organisation.
