Job Description

Purpose of the role

The role focuses on designing, developing, and improving software using modern engineering methods. The objective is to build technology capabilities that support business platforms and provide value to customers and colleagues.

Accountabilities

• Develop and deliver high quality software solutions using industry standard programming languages, frameworks, and tools, ensuring code remains scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements, shape solution strategies, and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with team members, participate in code reviews, and contribute to knowledge sharing while maintaining high code quality standards.
• Stay informed about technology trends and innovations, contributing to internal technology communities that support learning and technical excellence.
• Follow secure coding practices to reduce vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and deliver secure software solutions.
• Implement effective unit testing approaches to support reliable code design, readability, and maintainability.
