Job Description
The role supports the smooth functioning of trading desks by providing operational assistance to traders, sales professionals, and other stakeholders. The objective is to help teams operate efficiently, reduce disruptions, and handle administrative tasks while providing market information and research support.
Accountabilities
- Provide timely technical support to traders and sales teams, resolving hardware, software, and network related issues to maintain uninterrupted trading activities.
- Coordinate trade execution by working with traders, clients, and internal teams to ensure transactions are completed smoothly.
- Maintain and update trade records, transaction logs, and client databases with accuracy.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation that support sales and trading activities.
- Monitor market data and assist with analysis of financial information used for trading decisions.
- Handle operational activities such as processing trades, confirming orders, and resolving trade discrepancies.

The Equity Derivative team works with a wide range of clients and delivers structured solutions across global markets. In this role, the analyst provides support to the Equity Derivative EMEA and APAC Sales teams.
Responsibilities may include responding to client requests such as audit queries, redemption questions, fixing event queries, and requests related to deltas or Greeks. The role also involves working with sales and business management teams to manage fee and invoice payments, setting up clients for dealing and pricing platforms such as BARX, COMET, and Bloomberg, and preparing maturity reports. Coordination with relevant teams is required to ensure a smooth maturity process.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Sales, Structuring, and Middle Office teams with lifecycle events related to structured products including OTC instruments and notes.
- Handle break remediation activities related to coupon or expiry calculations.
- Execute onboarding requirements such as product setup and trading account configuration for existing clients.
- Initiate refresh requests, upload required forms, and track onboarding milestones.
- Assist with the onboarding process for new clients and coordinate across internal teams.
- Work with valuation groups to confirm the accuracy of client daily valuation statements.
- Provide management information and respond to client or regulatory queries.
- Coordinate with operations and onshore teams to resolve settlement issues and ensure accurate trade settlement.
- Ensure trades remain dealable by updating client dealing entities and resolving issues related to online trading platforms.
- Support trade confirmations when required.
- Contribute to improvements by identifying inefficient processes and recommending better approaches.
- Manage and respond to queries raised by internal teams and external clients across APAC and EMEA.
